okay. so.
*Lascaux did a Nny drawing.
and i remembered how much i loved that comic when i first read it.
and how much i loved Devi and Nny together and how awesome they could have been for one another if only Johnny could get his fucking head straight
and then My Very Best came on and well.

yeah. not nearly as aching and heartfelt as i wanted it to come out. not nearly enough. but it was something i threw together in an hour cause i got things to do today and maybe i'll come back and draw an actually nice Johnny/Devi pic sometime but not toooodaaaaaay.

Wow, I've never seen either of them drawn like this before. It's a totally different atmosphere and feeling than I normally find, and I LOVE it! I'm really enchanted with Devi's face, how anguished she looks, and how real. They both look so real, and not like an idealized version of themselves. Really amazing!

thanks very much, one of the things i love about fanart is translating a character into a completely different style. sadly most Jhonen fanart tends to be pretty formulaic. :\
