coraline: late afternoon snack

this probably isn't exactly how the scene in the book pans out, i'm visually paraphrasing here.

basically,
the Other Kitchen
Coraline watching while the Other Mother pops sum tasty beetles.

this was the first thing i did after a long art break, and it actually renewed my interest in more detailed pencil work.
i also tried to take some time and practice actually making a complete piece instead of the quick sketchy background-less stuff i usually do.
trying to learn some patience in my art.







oh, and i really love drawing the Other Mother.
